Cleaning private lodgings is a race against time.
During busy periods, rooms must be cleaned and prepared for guests to arrive in the four hours between 11am when guests check out and 3pm when they check in.
When you write four hours, it seems like there’s plenty of time.
Surely that can be done?
The answer is no.
It’s possible in a hotel guest room, of course.
Even a VIP room can be cleaned in an hour.
Private lodgings are different.
That’s because it’s the same as cleaning an entire private home in four hours.
It’s easy to imagine if you think of finishing a thorough cleaning in four hours.
If you clean in a hurry, it’s impossible to get to the details.
If you leave the details alone for a day or two, it’s no problem.
But if it lasts a week or a month, the situation changes.
We don’t approve of that.
For example, dust that accumulates on slightly protruding parts.
It gradually builds up, and if you leave it alone, it will amount to a certain amount.
You can’t find it unless you look closely, so guests who are only staying one night might not notice it.
However, if you do notice it, it will probably be an unpleasant experience.
